In 1907, Italian immigrant Vito Palazzolo started a family business with $37 and all that his grandfather and uncles had taught him. Here in the land of opportunity, it didn't take long for Vito, a savvy competitor, to build a thriving business. Vito had the freshest milk and ricotta, but just as important, people knew they could depend on him: the right day, the side porch (if you asked), usually 15 minutes early. Growing up, Gregg Palazzolo would sit next to his grandfather's desk while Vito added up the day's receipts.
Vito was always thinking about customers, and how to keep them coming back for more. So every year at the Holidays, there was a Palazzolo's Dairy gift. It was a 'Thank you', but it was more. It validated the customer relationship, recognizing it as something more than just commerce and a daily transaction. That personal touch, the beginning of the Palazzolo brand, created a legacy.
We choose to acknowledge the humble milkman whose example of 100 years ago still serves as our compass. A century later, Palazzolo Design continues to honor that common-sense approach to working, no small feat in today's business climate, which too often bends to cliché, sheep's clothing and ethics-on-the-fly. We've thrived on this philosophy, never becoming part of the status quo.
