CASUAL DINING MARKETING, PROMOTIONS & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
[Big Dish Restaurant| 800 Main Street | Lowell, Mich.]

A branded environment makes good food taste great and enables great customer experiences. How do we do it? – Carefully crafted packaging that doesn’t show, orchestrated visual chaos, and found objects, all crafted into a cohesive atmosphere and experience aimed at every consumer touchpoint. We captured the experience and translated it into a full range of elements including menus, advertising, staff outfits, branded merchandise and apparel.

We also handled all aspects of the experience space – functional design and layout, the interior design, construction management, lighting, materials, textiles, flooring, as well as the interior and exterior signage and special fixtures and displays, including commissioned artwork. It's all in the details, and it all adds up to a comprehensive, controlled location that feels like anything but.

And all of it was designed to scale. The whole experience was ready to be recreated at new locations anywhere in America, without losing any of the unique details that made the brand great.

The food’s easy, it happens in the kitchen. The real corner café experience is in front of the customer, where there’s nowhere to hide. The restaurant opened to an overflowing house, and the buzz about the experience spread rapidly.
